Deathlore was recorded in a log cabin overlooking the mighty Ohio River during the winter of 2020. My intention was to communicate the atmosphere of my surroundings and to reinterpret ghost stories I heard as a child. This is the essence of True Appalachian Dark Country - inspired by death, depravity, devilment, and depression which have forever been the foundations of authentic country music.
